Artist's Comments

For this painting I used watercolour paint and ink applied mainly with a number 2 paint brush. I spayed the paint through the airbrush for the sky, water and mist. The Mallard ducks were painted with a 00 brush.

In many ways perhaps a simple scene, ancient Dawn, Flag Fen by ~jamesgreen presents through masterful execution a glimpse of the extraordinary within a setting initially mute... and thus, ultimately, all the more magical. (Suggested by =AnnaKirsten and Featured by ^snowmask)
